When German group Eloy burst out of the starting gate back in 1971, the band's debut album showcased a sound style that had much more in common with fellow Krautrockers Heavy Prog groups such as Birth Control, Epitaph, Night Sun, or Jane or even British bands such as Deep Purple or Uriah Heep displaying nary a trace of the Pink Floyd inspired Symphonic
