The problem is that if you really want a deck that would like to have things you want to ramp into, you dont necessarily want the small creatures as well, so it finds itself in a very bad spot and never saw play
The more cheap instants and sorceries you play the better this gets but I have had as few as 6 targets and still been more than satisfied with Snapcasters performance
