FWC's 1939 Greenport School Doggy Doorstop with Very Crazy Face painted icon which I can't look at

which I can't look at without thinking of a plate of fried eggs

and scribbled a few other things on it as well

and he and his dog will snuggle up together next to a fire

with glaze loss and fleabites just around the perimenter

and have been especially loving ones that capture late 19th/very early 20th century domestic interiors in great detail

Quite a face. And is that a black tongue flapping down, or ? The work of a young FWC in 1939 of Greenport School (Long Island?), who looks to have been in the 17th grade! 8 1 4" t x 6 5 8" w x 4 3 8" d and in good, very sturdy and sound condition. Great surface, very sweet.
