Chicago, 1936), dating to the 1960s this narrative, sort of stream of consciousness drawing, along with a painting on paper of a face or mask. I find his work consistently compelling, and affecting this drawing seeming to portray the central figure, likely a portrait of the artist himself, in a certain state of turmoil, with one figure kneeling in front of him, another seeming to gesture to
