I found this painted wood sculpture of a seal or sea lion balancing a ball at the estate sale of an artist

and then two Cheerio-like rattles at either end

And there is a bit of a pinkness to the exposed face of the iron that makes it even more right

each measuring six inches tall by 1 3/8" in diameter
