The varnish has some rubs and small dings

showing some bluing loss to the female ferrule and tip tops

The rod is in mint condition with the minor exception of a few indentations in the cork grip from the guides on the other sections being packed tightly next to it in the bag/tube

You will not be disappointed in this beauty

I suppose this makes the reel the Hardy equivalent of the 1924 "inverted Jenny" stamp
