this week I returned to the same shop and found DARK ENGINE waiting for me

I fell madly in love with so called "Bactrian princesses" -- small ancient stone carved figurines made between the late third and early second millennia B

though it easily set straight

with only minor losses to collaged bits and a few very minor dings and stain loss

Ink and watercolor, quite beautifully done, the mass of an undivided Asia making Europe look tiny. 7" x 5 1 4" Center fold crease as evident. Very good condition, ink clear and color very strong.
